The following shifts are available:

Full Time: Sunday- Thursday (5 days)

Sunday 12:00pm to 8:30pm & Monday -Thursday 2:00pm to 10:30pm

Our Hayward facility is a high-volume fulfillment and distribution environment that is hiring energetic and quality-oriented team members.  We have full-time positions that follow the school year calendar.

Job Summary:

Energetic and quality-oriented team member committed to meet, or exceed expectations and goals of Choicelunch in providing healthy school lunches in a high volume, fast-paced Fulfillment environment.  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:  

Follow instructions given on varying tasks Assist in various areas of the kitchen as needed Maintain a clean and safe working environment Ability to work in varying temperature environments

CA Food Handlers Certificate a plus

Able to read and write in English 

Physical demands and work environment: 

Physical demands: while performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and safely move HFB’s which weigh upwards of 250 lbs and safely operate lift gate. Specific vision abilities required by the job require close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time, and on occasion may be exposed to cold temperatures in the walk-in refrigerator for extended periods of time.  The noise level is usually moderate.
