Warehouse Worker

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to prepare orders by processing requests, pulling material, and maintaining the efficient flow of product.

Primary Responsibilities:

Order fulfillment – stocking and replenishment, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer order

Perform daily cycle counting and researching discrepancies

Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to select the correct products from warehouse racking

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards

Assist in counting of physical inventory

Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness

Complete deliveries by driving truck or van; Load and unload trucks

Frequently lift product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; frequently reach up to 72 inches; constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift, retrieving items from lower shelf areas

Assist in vehicles maintenance

Shrink-wrap product on loading dock

Distributes machinery as jobs are pulled

Assist in maintenance of our machinery such as humidifiers, water extractors, grinding machines, rip-up machines, etc. 

Qualifications:

2+ years previous warehouse experience preferred

Forklift certification required

Experience with machinery maintenance 

Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important

Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis

Ability to read, write and speak English

Able to work in multi-temperature environments

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Fundamental software and hardware computer skills are required
