What You’ll Be Doing: As a Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our yard and warehouse. You’ll lead by example, support your team, and ensure all tasks and customer orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating daily yard activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfilment
• Supporting and motivating team members, providing feedback and identifying development opportunities
• Monitoring workloads and allocating resources to maintain productivity and service levels
• Identifying and resolving operational issues quickly and effectively
• Communicating with managers regarding delays, stock issues, or operational challenges
• Operating a forklift and assisting with loading, unloading, and general material handling
• Ensuring vehicles are loaded safely for delivery
• Maintaining stock accuracy by reporting damages, shortages, or discrepancies
• Upholding workplace health and safety standards and promoting a safe work environment

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in a warehouse, yard, or logistics environment with leadership responsibilities
• Strong ability to lead, motivate, and support a team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to problem-solve and make effective decisions under pressure
• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Physically fit with the ability to handle manual tasks when required
• Knowledge of building materials
• Commitment to safety and WHS practices
