The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for leading the day-to-day warehouse operations and managing the organisation’s physical workspaces. This role ensures efficient stock management, high-quality service delivery to internal and external stakeholders, and strong adherence to SLAs, while maintaining safe, functional, and scalable facilities across all sites.

The role also includes managing non-IT service requests from staff, coordinating and overseeing subcontractors for site maintenance and works, and ensuring all locations consistently meet company standards across culture, health and safety (OH&S), and workplace presentation.


Requirements:
What you’ll do

• Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team to deliver high performance and accountability, including managing day-to-day team operations, rostering, workload allocation, performance management, and providing training and support to ensure adherence to processes and systems
• Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and customer focus while ensuring all services meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), driving continuous improvement in service delivery and maintaining strong stakeholder communication
• Oversee ticket management for warehouse and facilities requests, ensuring timely triage, assignment, and resolution in line with SLAs, prioritising workflows, monitoring queue health, and acting as an escalation point for high-priority incidents and customer issues
• Manage operational issues by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, escalating risks and major incidents, working cross-functionally to resolve complex issues, and maintaining documentation of recurring issues and solutions
• Oversee warehouse operations including inventory control, stock accuracy, asset tracking, stock rotations, receiving, dispatch, storage processes, and compliance with company policies and audit requirements
• Manage facilities operations across sites, including maintenance, safety, compliance, contractor coordination, invoice review, and ensuring a safe, clean, and functional working environment
• Support new and existing site operations by coordinating logistics, equipment and workspace setup, office moves, and partnering with stakeholders on expansion or relocation projects
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety compliance by meeting WHS standards, supporting evacuation planning and drills, maintaining trained Fire Wardens and First Aid Officers, verifying high-risk machinery licences, completing site training and inductions, and supporting sustainability initiatives

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or facilities management (ideally within IT or managed services); Demonstrated people leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Strong understanding of ticketing systems, workflow management, and SLA delivery; Experience managing escalations and resolving operational issues
• High level of organisation, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills; Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions.; Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment to prioritise accordingly.
• Strong stakeholder communication and customer service orientation; Excellent communication and presentation skills.; Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual rigor and curiosity, and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop and implement medium-term strategies around Facilities.; Knowledge of WHS (Work Health & Safety) requirements; Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.
