Rock West Composites, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor.
Rock West Composites, Inc. is an engineering and manufacturing company dedicated to providing innovative solutions for commercial and government customers. This position is located in San Diego, Ca at our Aircraft Facility and reports to our Supply Chain Director.
Position Summary:
The position will be responsible for leading warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, staff supervision, and overall management of the facility to maintain a safe and efficient department.
Essential Functions:
Warehouse Operations & Team Leadership
Overseeing daily warehouse operations.
Ensuring efficient and accurate processes for receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
Providing leadership and guidance to warehouse workers, delegating tasks, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Training new employees on warehouse procedures and best practices.
Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback.
Motivating and encouraging warehouse staff to maintain a high level of productivity and teamwork.
Inventory Control & Operational Efficiency
Managing inventory levels, tracking stock, and ensuring accurate inventory records.
Overseeing the timely and accurate processing of orders, from picking and packing to shipping.
Ensuring the warehouse and its equipment are well-maintained and organized.
Identifying and resolving operational issues and challenges.
Identifying and implementing strategies to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
Reporting and Performance Metrics
Implementing and enforcing safety procedures and protocols to create a safe working environment.
Operate at all times in compliance with Rock West Composites’ quality management system, including adherence to AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.
Comply with Rock West Composites’ company policies, procedures, and code of business conduct.
Reporting, Performance & Professional Expectations
Generating reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and performance metrics.
Organized, self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.
Exhibit and promote an attitude that leads to an engaged and energized workforce.
Be a team player: hungry, humble, and people-smart.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma / GED is required
Pursuit of a higher education level preferred.
3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Composite manufacturing experience is a big plus.
Must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills and work effectively across all areas of the business
Current computer literacy is a must, including full proficiency in the use of the entire Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Experience with AS9100 quality management system
US. Person under 22 CFR 120 (due to ITAR Restrictions)

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position falls within $28-$45. The final compensation will be determined based on experience, skillset, and other factors permitted by law.
