Core Responsibilities:
Supervising the implementation of plans, procedures and policies on Warehouse operation which includes product receiving and inspection, product storage and rotation, order selection, loading, products & personnel safety, and outside warehouse.
Assisting the Warehouse Manager for the development, establishment and implementation of innovative and cost reduction projects aligned with the company strategic direction.
Leading the departmental meeting to review processes, performance, and issues. Departmental objectives and KPI measures are clearly understood and thoroughly explained to the subordinates.
Assisting the Warehouse Manager on development of contingency plans.
Handling warehouse capacity and manpower planning.
Coordinating with cross-functional departments (Finance HR, IT, HSEQ) for support of resources and employee training and development.
Supervising the preparation and reviewing periodic reports as per set requirements and cut-offs.
Supervising the nonconforming products.
Assisting the customer service on customer enquiries.
Performing other tasks assigned by superior from time to time.
Meeting or exceeding the yearly warehouse objectives within a budget that are aligned to support business objectives.
Facilitating effective and timely communication to employees by being accessible, responsive, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Implementation of WMS at the different warehouses.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
At least 5 - 7 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field is typically required.
Strong leadership and management skills to oversee and motivate warehouse staff.
In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and safety protocols.
Proficiency in inventory control and management to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
Strong problem-solving skills to address issues related to efficiency, safety, and productivity in the warehouse.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff, upper management, and external stakeholders, such as suppliers and transportation companies.
A strong commitment to safety and knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within a warehouse environment.
Knowledge of and adherence to relevant regulations and compliance standards, such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
