Warehouse Supervisor (1 year contract)

JOB PURPOSE

The Warehouse Supervisor with expertise in Chemicals, Safety Regulations, and Warehousing plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of chemical products within the warehouse environment at Takhli Nakhon Sawan. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, with a specific focus on chemicals, to guarantee compliance with safety regulations, optimize processes, and maintain a high standard of operational excellence.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the safe handling, storage, and transportation of chemicals following regulatory standards.

Ensure compliance with safety data sheets (SDS), labeling requirements, and other relevant regulations.

Implement and enforce protocols to minimize the environmental impact of chemical handling.

Stay abreast of safety regulations and industry best practices related to chemical storage and transportation.

Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures for the warehouse.

Conduct regular safety audits and training programs to maintain a secure work environment.

Utilize extensive warehousing experience to optimize storage, distribution, and logistics processes.

Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize losses and enhance overall accuracy.

Lead and manage a team of warehouse personnel, guiding chemical safety and operational protocols.

Foster a positive work culture that prioritizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and training to enhance team capabilities.

Maintain open communication channels with internal departments, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.

Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to warehouse operations promptly.

Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

7 - 10 years of experience in Warehouse Supervisor, warehouse management at supervisor level, logistics, or a related field is typically required.

Strong leadership and management skills to oversee and motivate warehouse staff.

A strong commitment to safety and knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within a warehouse environment.

Knowledge of and adherence to relevant regulations and compliance standards, such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.

Good understanding and Process driven (works with data & process flows, SOPs, WIs & VISOPs)

In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and safety protocols.

Proficiency in inventory control and management to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.

Strong problem-solving skills to address issues related to efficiency, safety, and productivity in the warehouse.

Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff, upper management, and external stakeholders, such as suppliers and transportation companies.

Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
