Our locations: Brookvale (our flagship site with multiple specialist sales centres), Peakhurst, Mona Vale, Terrey Hills, Hornsby, and Dural.
What You'll Be Doing:
This role is split between warehouse operations (70%) and customer service/sales (30%). You will ensure the smooth running of the warehouse and yard by safely handling stock, managing deliveries, and keeping inventory organised. You will also support customers in-store by providing great service, product advice, and assisting with sales.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Warehouse & Yard (approx. 70%)
Safely operate a forklift and handle materials including loading, unloading, sorting, counting, and organising stock
Receive incoming goods and allocate them correctly to the warehouse or store
Prepare and load orders for delivery and monitor stock levels
Report damaged or missing stock and support order fulfilment across departments
Work across warehouse, store, and yard areas as needed
Follow all Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies and procedures
Customer Service & Sales (approx. 30%)
Engage with customers, identify needs, and recommend suitable products
Process quotes, sales orders, returns, and scheduling accurately
Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
Work with internal and external teams to support customer requirements
Resolve customer issues and escalate where required
What We're Looking For:
Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg when required
Previous experience with building materials is an advantage (not essential)
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Reliable with a strong commitment to safe work practices
Ability to understand customer needs and provide suitable solutions
Confident in recommending additional products to support sales outcomes
Accurate with transactions, stock handling, and following safety procedures
Current Forklift Licence (LF)
Previous warehouse or yard experience
Experience in the tiles, building, or home & garden industry (preferred)
