Warehouse Stock Controller - Supermarket

Apt Resources is currently looking for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join their client's team for a Supermarket chain in Angola, West Africa. As a Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the store by managing the incoming stock, ensuring accurate documentation, and organizing the stockroom efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Counting stock and making inventory reports for warehouses
• Receive and inspect stock deliveries
• Check the quantity and quality of incoming stock
• Handle documentation and maintain accurate records of stock
• Organize and maintain the stockroom
• Ensure stock is properly labeled and stored
• Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely restocking
• Monitor and track inventory levels
• Collaborate with the sales team to address any stock-related issues
• Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist in other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Experience counting stock and making inventory reports for warehouses
• Experience in working in Supermarkets/Hypermarkets is essential
• Prior experience as a stock receptionist or similar role

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
• Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long periods of standing
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
