Warehouse Operative

Green-tech is the UKs largest landscaping supplier, providing quality landscaping materials and wholesale garden supplies for landscaping contractors, architects, designers and landowners.

We are looking for x2 Permanent Warehouse Operatives to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Operative responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and Shipping orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. The role is based at Green-tech.

Responsibilities -

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits/stock integrity

Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation

Load and unload vehicles

Report any discrepancies

Communicate and cooperate with Managers and colleagues

Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements and Skills -

Flexible, Hardworking with attention to detail

Good communication skills

Able to work well in a team as well as independently

Able to work additional hours/overtime to meet business requirements

Punctual & reliable

Health & Safety aware

Previous warehouse experience preferred but full training will be given.

Hours Of Work -

07:00 – 15:30 & 08:30 – 17:00 - rotating weekly
