Warehouse Manager

IN SHORT:
Are you our next Warehouse Manager? We're looking for a new talent to complete our team! In this role (asap, 100%) in Zurich, you will help drive efficiency, optimize processes, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your knack for communication allows you to lead the warehouse team and make our customers happy.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead a fantastic team of 5 shift leads and over 50 warehouse hourly workers across two shifts, six days a week
• Ensure correct products and volumes are delivered to the customer on time, in full, and following the FEFO principle
• Track productivity daily in order to meet or exceed your budget targets
• Optimise and implement new processes to reduce costs and waste while increasing overall productivity
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and well-organised working environment

Projects
• Lead your team to launch our new Warehouse Management System (WMS) together with our Tech/IT Team
• Plan new floor layout changes to meet our increasing volume demands

YOUR PROFILE:
• 5+ years of experience at a supervisory level within a warehouse facility
• Strong organizational skills, including LEAN methodologies, SOP creation, and process mapping
• Proficiency with analytical tools; WMS and Excel are required, while Tableau is a strong plus
• Supportive and communicative leadership style with proven experience in developing and motivating teams
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment while promoting a collaborative and respectful team culture
• Genuine passion for great food and great service, bringing diverse perspectives and inclusive leadership to the floor
• Fluency in German and English; Spanish is a plus
• Non-smoker - we don't want you to smell like cigarettes, neither at work nor at customer meetings. After all, FELFEL is about good food.
• Valid work permit or Swiss passport.

YOU WILL BE MEASURED BY:
• Achieve on-time, in-full shipping and maintain high overall warehouse productivity
• Maintain inventory accuracy and stock integrity across all storage zones
• Deliver high picking accuracy, throughput, and continuous improvement of workflows
• Drive team stability, training, engagement, and the development of shift leads
• Ensure labour cost efficiency and alignment of staffing with volume forecasts
• Uphold a safe working environment with strong adherence to safety standards
