Our Operations function plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless and efficient management of inventory management, order fulfilment, customer support and logistics, this function is dedicated to optimising every step of the customer journey. By leveraging technology, data analytics, and best practices in supply chain management, the team ensures timely delivery, accurate order processing, and a smooth user experience across digital platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns processing.
• Lead and manage a small team of warehouse operatives, including scheduling, training, performance management, and development.
• Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time to meet eCommerce SLAs and customer expectations.
• Manage returns workflow efficiently, ensuring timely processing, quality checks, and stock reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate inventory control, including cycle counts, stock integrity, and system alignment (e.g. WMS).
• Optimise warehouse layout, processes, and workflows to improve efficiency, throughput, and space utilisation.
• Monitor KPIs (order accuracy, dispatch times, returns processing, productivity) and implement continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised warehouse environment.
• Coordinate, carriers, and internal teams (Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain).
Skills, knowledge & expertise:
• Proven experience in warehouse or fulfilment operations, ideally within eCommerce or D2C environments.
• Previous experience managing or supervising a team in a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of pick/pack operations, returns handling, and inventory control.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations within warehouse environments.
• Fluency in English required.
