Non‑negotiable skills or experience: 
 
• Previous logistics experience helpful but not necessary. 
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
•  Receiving and inspecting merchandise: Verify incoming items for quality and accuracy, weigh and count shipments, and check against purchase orders.
• Shipping and order preparation: Package, label, and move outgoing merchandise to delivery areas, ensuring items are secured for transport.
•  Inventory management: Organize and store products on shelves or racks, maintain accurate records of stock, and assist with inventory control.
•  Equipment Operation – Utilize band strapping equipment, pallet jacks and shrink wrapping.
•  Warehouse maintenance: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and safe, including removing trash and ensuring proper closing and security of the warehouse.
•  Support warehouse staff: Assist supervisors and other staff with daily tasks, follow work orders, and help with shipping and receiving processes.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
 
•  Physical stamina: Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
•  Attention to detail: Ensure accurate handling of merchandise and proper documentation.
•  Teamwork and communication: Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors.
•  Basic technical skills: Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory systems, and equipment operation; forklift certification is often preferred.
•  Education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; prior warehouse experience is advantageous.
