Job Description
Role: Oversee night-shift activities across multiple warehouse locations, manage a team of warehouse associates, and ensure that all materials, equipment, and deliveries are processed efficiently and accurately.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise direct reports to ensure all pick tickets are accurately pulled, staged, and ready for morning delivery.
Offload materials and equipment from returning jobsite vehicles.
Clean, inspect, and return tools and equipment to inventory.
Manage vehicle check-in/out and maintain accurate daily vehicle logs.
Develop and maintain a night-shift checklist to track completion of all key tasks.
Receive and process returned materials following company procedures.
Update inventory systems and data using warehouse management software.
Safely operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to move and organize materials.
Conduct and assist with physical inventory counts.
Identify and report inventory discrepancies to the Inventory Manager.
Train, mentor, and support warehouse team members on proper procedures and safety practices.
Collaborate with Warehouse Operations, Division Managers, and Equipment teams to ensure a seamless morning transition.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Secure the building and equipment at the end of the shift.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2+ years of supervisory or management experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
Experience in construction or building materials environments preferred.
Knowledge of flooring and commercial door materials a plus.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficient with computers; experience with RFMS and ToolWatch preferred.
OSHA forklift certification required (or ability to obtain).
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to lift up to 75lbs (occasionally up to 100lbs) and perform tasks involving bending, twisting, and reaching.
English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) required.
Comfortable working in multi-temperature environments.
