Job Summary
The Fabrication & Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks within and possibly outside the warehouse. This role’s primary function is to perform the tasks required to fabricate/ modify/ manufacture belts. This role is also responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safe conditions within the warehouse, reporting any injuries, communicating, and coordinating with other staff regarding order fulfillment.

Responsibilities and Duties
Perform and/or assist with warehouse order fulfillment including the accurate measuring and cutting of heavy-duty conveyor belting.
Perform and/or assist with Fabrication/warehouse organization, cleaning and maintenance as directed.
Assist Fabrication team in designing, fabricating, and assembling of mechanisms, prototypes, fixtures, and parts needed in company projects.
Assist maintenance team in Performing corrective and preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and accessories of the company.
Shipping & receiving (loading and unloading inventory)
Accurately complete appropriate paperwork
Support the floor staff in production and warehouse issues.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Work in a safe manner and participate in safety initiatives.
Report any unsafe situations or behavior to supervisor or other responsible person.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Completion of Secondary school education is preferred.
1-year experience working in an industrial environment
Forklift operation experience is a must.
Willing to work extra hours/emergency hours if needed
Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools
the ability to work as part of a team
Ability to lift 60+ lbs. with the assistance of another person
Periodic travel is required.
