Role Overview

The Waiter delivers exceptional, personalized service to guests, ensuring a warm, professional, and memorable dining experience. The role requires attentive service, detailed product knowledge, and seamless collaboration with the F&B team. The Waiter anticipates guest needs and contributes to a refined dining atmosphere, upholding the highest standards of service excellence.

Key Accountabilities

• Present and describe food and beverage menu items to guests in an engaging and knowledgeable manner.
• Greet guests warmly, seat them promptly, and ensure consistent, attentive service throughout the dining experience.
• Oversee table setup, maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, and uphold high service standards.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of all orders.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints efficiently and professionally, ensuring swift resolution.
• Monitor inventory of dining supplies and beverages, maintain stock levels, and contribute to minimizing waste.
• Promote and upsell food, beverages, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Assist with service across other hotel outlets, events, and in-room dining operations as required.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within five-star hotels or high-volume fine dining venues.
• Degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Knowledge of wines; experience in wine tasting is considered an advantage.
• Experience using MICROS or other POS systems is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are considered an asset.
