To provide prompt and courteous Food & Beverage service to the hotel’s guests.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Read daily event sheets and acknowledge any VIP arrivals.
• Maintain full knowledge of all menu items, including garnishes, ingredients, and preparation methods, and be able to explain them politely and concisely to guests when requested.
• Present children’s menus when appropriate, and describe daily specials and alternative cuisine options.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
• Use the POS system to process orders, print checks, close transactions, and complete cash-out procedures.
• Carry trays; clear and reset tables with linen, china, glassware, and silverware.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle any issues that may arise, informing the manager of the situation and how it was resolved.
• Follow cash and credit card procedures in accordance with accounting department guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly restaurant throughout service.
• Polish silverware and replenish salt, pepper, sugar, creamers, and other condiments.
• Ensure workstations are fully stocked with appropriate supplies at all times.
• Report any guest comments regarding food and beverage to the manager.
• Handle and maintain operating equipment responsibly and carefully.
• Learn and adhere to safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies.
• Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all Food & Beverage services, outlets, and hotel facilities/features.
• Perform opening and closing side duties as assigned and set tables according to established standards.
• Report any deviations from established standards and procedures to the manager.
• Ensure all service and storage areas are kept safe and clean.
• Help minimize waste, negligence, breakage, and mishandling of supplies and equipment.
• Carry out light cleaning and basic maintenance of the outlet.
• Assist other Food & Beverage outlets during peak hours when needed.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
• Able to handle and account for cash accurately and efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with good problem-solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of Food & Beverage products.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Secondary education diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in food and beverage service.
• Previous experience in customer service and/or cashiering
