DETAILS OF POSITION

Location: Vandenberg Space Force Base  /  Part-time: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday (night shift) /  Starting Rate of Pay: $17.75 per hour

PURPOSE OF POSITION

In this position, the Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) Commissary Worker is responsible for custodial and stocking duties in order to meet Military Base contract specifications.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

This stocking and custodial position at VSFB Commissary needs someone who is organized, works well independently, and can prioritize when workload and demands fluctuate. Also important are common sense, attention to safety, and the ability to cooperate and communicate with the rest of the team. Experience is a plus but not required as we provide thorough training on job duties and use of equipment. Applicants must be able to meet requirements to obtain entrance to VSFB, work shifts for at least 6-8 hours and be willing to work some weekends and holidays.  

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with an insurable record.

An insured vehicle available for use during employment.

Must be willing and able to work up to 8 hours per shift.  

Must be able to work in varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
