Work Hours: Night Shift (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM PHT overlap with U.S. teams)

We are looking for a visionary, hands-on VP / Director of Engineering to lead, scale, and inspire our growing engineering organization.

This is not a purely managerial role. This is for a builder, a mentor, and a technologist at heart—someone who can zoom out to define strategy and zoom in to guide architecture, review code, and unblock teams.

Leadership & Vision

• Define and drive the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap

• Build and scale a high-performing, globally distributed engineering team

• Partner with product and business leaders to align engineering with company goals

Technical Excellence

• Guide architecture and design across modern stacks (MongoDB, Next.js, Nest.js, Node.js, PHP/MySQL)

• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and performant

• Drive adoption of best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure

• Stay ahead of trends in generative AI, automation, and enterprise software

Team Development

• Mentor and develop engineering leaders (Team Leads, Senior Engineers)

• Champion a culture of code quality, peer review, and continuous learning

• Recruit and retain top engineering talent

Execution & Delivery

• Oversee delivery of complex, high-impact projects

• Improve engineering velocity and operational efficiency

Experience

• 8–15+ years in software engineering, with progressive leadership experience

• Proven success leading engineering teams and managers

• Experience scaling teams in a fast-moving, high-growth environment

• Strong background in full-stack web development

Technical Background

• Deep experience with modern JavaScript ecosystems (Node.js, React/Next.js, Nest.js)

• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and APIs

• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, and cloud platforms (AWS or similar)

• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines)
