Title: VP Operations
Reports to: CEO
Location: USA, Remote
The Opportunity
Everest is reshaping how elite executive assistance is delivered to founders, entrepreneurs, executives, and high-net-worth individuals. Our clients expect exceptional service: proactive, strategic, discreet, and seamless. We operate with the adaptability of a high-performing technology organization: iterating quickly, learning from feedback, and improving our systems at speed. We’re collaborative, supportive, and focused on sustainable excellence.
Everest has grown 10x through founder-led sales and consultative client relationships. Now we need an operator who can make what we have work and scale it. You will own performance and execution. This is not a "build everything from scratch" role, it's a "make existing systems drive consistent results through growth" role. If you love coaching teams to raise their game and running a disciplined operating rhythm, this is a great role for you.
What You'll Own
Service Delivery & Performance
• Own end-to-end delivery experience: ensure consistency with Everest's SOPs across all clients.
• Enforce and continuously improve existing SOPs.
• Establish service owner accountability and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with the Executive Service lead to drive service quality improvements.
• Partner with the Product lead to translate frontline learnings into service design, tooling and playbooks.
Operating Cadence & Execution
• Design and run the company's operating rhythm: weekly ops reviews, project check-ins, commitment tracking, and decision forums.
• Translate company goals into quarterly and monthly plans with clear owners, timelines, and definitions of done.
• Hold the team accountable to commitments.
Analytics & Visibility
• Refine and maintain a focused company scorecard covering revenue, pipeline, client health, delivery quality, and operational throughput.
• Partner with Ops & Data lead to ensure data is accurate, visible, and used in decision-making.
• Run regular performance reviews that drive course corrections and continuous improvement.
Accountability & Judgment Culture
• Implement simple decision frameworks and escalation rules so the team brings solutions, not just problems.
• Coach functional leads (ops & analytics, executive services, people ops, recruiting) to manage to metrics and raise their operational maturity.
• Partner with People Ops and Recruiting on capacity planning, role design, and performance management (you do not own HR, but you are a key stakeholder).
Who You Are
Experience
• 7–10 years in operations leadership roles in tech-enabled services, boutique agencies, or similar services businesses at $1–10M ARR.
• Has inherited existing SOPs, tools, and data and successfully turned them into a living operating system (cadence, dashboards, accountability).
• Proven track record owning and improving performance metrics: service quality, on-time delivery, revenue margin, client retention.
• Direct experience managing and coaching functional leads across service delivery, operations, and analytics.
Skills & Traits
• Integrator: You connect the dots across functions, unblock work, and hold people accountable with clarity and respect.
• Execution-focused: You enforce and simplify SOPs; you know when to insist on process and when to remove friction.
• High ownership: You don't wait for perfect information. You propose plans, run experiments, and iterate.
• Data-literate: You refine dashboards, identify critical KPIs, and drive decisions from them.
• Coach and mentor: You set high bars, give clear feedback, and help people improve judgment rather than just taking work away.
What Success Looks Like in 90 Days
• Company scorecard live and reviewed weekly; data drives decisions and course corrections.
• Operating cadence installed: weekly ops reviews, project boards, commitment tracking, clear escalation paths.
• Service quality more consistent; existing SOPs actively managed and adopted.
• Team bringing options plus recommendations instead of problems to leadership.
Why Join Everest
• Build the operating system for a category-defining company: Everest is redefining what tech-enabled executive assistance looks like—high-touch, high-taste, deeply strategic. You'll shape how we deliver that at scale.
• Work with exceptional talent: Our team includes founders, senior engineers, strong functional leads and best in show EAs and chiefs of staff.
• Founder-led, data-driven culture: We are builders who move fast, value judgment and systems thinking, and give real authority to people who earn it.

• Competitive salary

• Medical, dental, vision healthcare benefits
• Flexible PTO policy, 401k, disability insurance, etc.
• Remote-first culture
