How You’ll Be Measured:
Credit, Pricing, and Fraud Strategy
Monitor portfolio performance and proactively drive changes to approval criteria
Continuously evolve Greenbox pricing strategies to balance competitiveness, return targets, and market shifts
Manage and improve fraud prevention strategies
Work closely with Data Science to improve risk prediction models
Partner with Underwriting to deploy policy and with Sales to ensure offer competitiveness
Data Analytics
Develop Greenbox’s data analytics platform to ensure data availability to the entire organization, including but not limited to PowerBI and Databricks
Lead a small but capable analytics team (Excel + Python), managing incoming analytics requests across departments
Build dashboards for each department’s KPIs and partner with them on insights
Collaborate with data science and data engineering teams on infrastructure development to progress the analytics platforms and risk models
Process Improvements & Automation
Drive improvements in underwriting operations with vendor implementations and better data sources
Partner with Product to deliver automation initiatives, ensuring underwriting policy can evolve with speed and scale
Collaborate with Collections to analyze default trends and integrate learnings into risk strategy
You’re a Strong Fit if You Have:
8+ years in credit risk for lending products, preferably in small business lending, alternative finance or revenue-based financing
Minimum of 5+ years of people leadership experience, including building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or relevant major
Have meaningful experience overseeing large balance sheets through macro shifts and can articulate strategies to navigate
Deep quantitative acumen; masterful with portfolio management, pricing strategies, IRR analysis, unit economics, and predictive modeling
What You’ve Done Before:
Experience managing BI analytics teams and collaborating with Data Science teams
Proficiency with SQL, Python, Business Intelligence Tools, and Excel
Proven track record of creativity, building new risk strategies in a highly competitive atmosphere
