The Volunteer Services Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and evaluating the agency’s Patient Volunteer Services to meet and promote standards of quality and contribute to the agency’s mission and goals in compliance with organization policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm
Location:
Onsite; Larkspur, CA
By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Develop and overall supervise delivery of volunteer services for agency in all regional locations to include hospice care services
• Facilitate community awareness and support of Volunteer Services by collaborating with Community Relations and Communications departments and participating in essential community events such as volunteer job fairs, health fairs, and volunteer events
• Develop volunteer job descriptions, policies and procedures, operational forms, and orientation/training materials. Facilitate orientation and training for volunteers in conjunction with Patient Care Volunteer Coordinators
• Manage and oversee portfolio of volunteers
• Conduct volunteer evaluations according to BTBH policy and procedures
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in applicable field from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years experience in program administration or a related role with at least two years of experience managing volunteers, preferably in a health care setting.
Pay Range:
$85K - $115K annually
