Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Voice Actors with 2+ years of professional recording experience to support an innovative AI research initiative focused on voice likeness and digital avatar technology. Talent will provide high-quality voice recordings and evaluate AI-generated replicas of their own voice to improve speech synthesis accuracy and accent authenticity.
We are looking for candidates with one or more of the following mixed US + international heritage accents:
• Russian-American
• Mexican-American
• Filipino-American
• Indian-American
• Chinese-American
Responsabilities:
• Record scripted material in a professional home or studio environment
• Deliver broadcast-quality WAV files (mono, 48kHz)
• Follow technical specifications and naming conventions
• Evaluate AI-generated voice replicas using structured A/B comparisons
• Provide clear, consistent qualitative feedback
Location: 100% Remote USA
Offer Details:
• This is a flexible contracting agreement, not a full-time or part-time employment position.
• Fixed Fee: USD 300 per finished hour (“Finished hour” means after editing, mastering, cleanup as per the scripts & directions provided which on average takes 4-5 hours of work)
Evaluation Process:
• Shortlisting based on qualifications and relevant professional experience.
• Shortlisted candidates will undergo a delivery review, after which they will be ready to start!
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as voice actor.
• Proven portfolio or samples demonstrating studio-grade work.
• Excellent pronunciation, diction, and fluency in one of the mixed accents.
• Strong vocal range and adaptability across formats.
• Proficiency with microphone techniques and recording best practices.
• Basic knowledge of sound editing (noise reduction, leveling, file formatting).
• Access to a high-quality microphone and professional recording setup.
• Ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and manage quick turnarounds.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with dubbing, ADR, or localization
• Demo reel showcasing a variety of voice styles
• Background in acting or performing arts
• Familiarity with audio editing tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field.
• Familiarity with transcription tools and AI annotation platforms.
• Experience in language teaching or linguistics is a plus.
