Location: Renton, WA
Pay: $35–$43 per hour

Pay: $35–$43 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Conduct vocational evaluations to determine treatment plans and identify complex return-to-work barriers, including cultural, psychosocial, and systemic factors.
Provide individual vocational counseling to help injured workers understand, explore, and re-assess career options throughout their recovery.
Lead group sessions on topics such as navigating the workers’ compensation system, job exploration, and resume development.
Collaborate with L&I representatives, medical providers, attorneys, and employers to coordinate care and return-to-work planning.
Participate in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings to review progress and support integrated treatment planning.
Analyze information from multiple sources and create clear, professional reports, summaries, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
Certified CRC or CDMS
Master’s degree from an accredited university
Comprehensive knowledge of Washington State Industrial Insurance System laws and regulations
Completed Supervision Training as required for WA State L&I-recognized vocational firms
Preferred Qualifications
Enjoys creative problem-solving to help workers with diverse backgrounds and skillsets, including those with limited English proficiency
Experience working with interpreters and culturally diverse populations
Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (Physicians, Psychologists, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other VRCs)
