The team you will be part of
The Social Commerce Team is a fast-growing team leading the way in livestream selling, short video content, and affiliate marketing across Southeast Asia. We work with top brands, combining creativity, data, and platform expertise to drive real commercial results. As part of Intrepid’s end-to-end eCommerce ecosystem, we gain broad exposure across operations, collaborate with cross-functional experts, and play a key role in shaping how brands connect with digital shoppers in real time.

The part you will play

The Live Commerce Manager will oversee the entire operations/performance/strategy of the Livestream, Video Content Production, and Host teams, focusing on both creative quality and commercial results across multiple e-Commerce platforms. 

This role connects production, content, and business performance, ensuring all livestream and video outputs meet brand objectives and sales goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, proactive leader with experience managing cross-functional teams and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

As a Live Commerce Manager, you will take charge of 

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and oversee livestream, video, content, and host sub-teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outputs for livestream and video performance across brands.

Mentor and develop team leads (Video Content Manager, Host Manager, and Production Supervisor) to ensure effective execution, collaboration, and accountability across teams.

Cultivate a culture of ownership, flexibility, and creative excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Optimize internal/ external processes/SOPs and resource allocation for maximum productivity and cost efficiency.

Performance & Strategy

Monitor livestream and video performance and productivity, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.

Work closely with internal cross-functional teams and brands to ensure content and production strategies align with the accounts’ sales goals & brand objectives.

Analyze market and competitor trends, leverage data insights to improve performance, and implement best practices across teams.

Adopt and implement the Regional’s tools, processes, and guidelines to improve the local team’s productivity and performance.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as the liaison between the internal local teams, the Regional team, and external stakeholders (brands, platforms, vendors).

Align execution with brand objectives to ensure seamless coordination across all campaign and activity timelines.

Participate in strategic discussions on brand initiatives, platform partnerships, and regional innovation programs.

Ad-hoc & Innovation Initiatives

Quickly adapt to changing setups, new production requirements, or ad-hoc demands for Livestream & Video. 

Lead pilot programs to test new livestream & video formats, tools, or technologies to enhance performance and operational scalability.

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

Experience & Competencies

5–7 years of experience in e-Commerce and/or Live Commerce, including 2-3 years in a managerial or cross-functional leadership role.

Proven track record of leading diverse teams in production, creative, and commercial areas for livestream and video.

Strong understanding of livestream ecosystems, e-commerce platforms (TikTok, Shopee, Lazada), and content-performance metrics.

Excellent project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and turn them into actionable strategies.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills under tight deadlines and changing requirements.

Personal Attributes

Highly adaptable, able to work effectively in ad-hoc or fast-changing setups.

Collaborative leader with a growth mindset, skilled at inspiring and developing cross-functional teams.

Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and ownership over results.
