Job requirements

· Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, resolve software, hardware, configuration and operational problems across the VMware products and technologies

· Experience in VMware VMotion, Storage VMotion, High Availability, DRS and fault tolerance.

· Deploy virtual machines, use of clones, snapshots, templates

· Experience in P2V,V2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center

· Hands on Experience of Migration/Replication tools Nutanix Move

· Good experience on upgrade firmware and BOIS of various physical hardware like HPE, Cisco, DELL and Fijitsu.

· Troubleshoot Networking & storage related issue

· Troubleshoot on VMware & Nutanix related issue

· VM templates, Snapshots, vSwitches, dvSwitches, Host Profiles and vSAN

· Up-gradation of AOS, Prism central, AHV, NCC and foundation on Nutanix environment

· Monitoring of VMs resource utilization using Prism central and Prism Element

· Knowledge on creation Bridges and add Uplinks on AHV clusters

· Knowledge on hyper converged infrastructures: Nutanix NX series, Fujitsu & Lenovo series

· Knowledge on AHV upgradation using LCM, Single Click Upgrade

· Nutanix AOS licence management

· ESXi hosts, P2V, V2V, re-designs and upgrades work on existing infrastructure

· Up-gradation of ESXi servers 6.7 & 7 to 8

· Participate daily operational meeting/major incident call and weekly management call

· Knowledge on HPE, DELL, CISCO, FUJITSU hardware management

· Knowledge on Service Now Ticketing tool.

· Knowledge on VSAN,VXRAIL,VMware NSX

Experience

Over all IT experience of more than 7- years with at least 5-6 years hands on experience in Windows

Good administrative knowledge

Experience in finance domain in same profile would be an added advantage.

Experience in Team management, vendor management

Skills Required

Shell scripting for Automation of admin tasks

Good communication skills

Ability to learn and adapt with enterprise class technologies, best practices
