Provides Virtualization Engineering Leadership and oversight for design, engineering and development of information technology solutions. Supports the design, analysis, development and implementation of engineering infrastructure solutions of projects and/or work requests for complex business solutions. Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc.

Most important - needs someone with enterprise experience that has done virtualization in big environments

• Work as a lead resource on projects. Mentoring other junior engineers.

• Work with teammates at local and remote sites to meet organizational goals.

• Information share with teammates, as appropriate.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Project a positive image into all interactions.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills

• Leadership qualities

• Ability to participate in simultaneous projects and prioritize effectively

• Understanding of Windows 2003/2008 R2 operating systems

• VMware certification with 5+ years experience

• Knowledge of HP Service Manager

• Knowledge of Dell Blade Chassis

• Knowledge of Cisco UCS

• Knowledge of VMWare/Vcenter (Install/config/manage)

• Knowledge of Desktop Virtualization (Install/config/manage)

• Expert troubleshooting skills
