We are currently seeking a Visual Merchandising Assistant to support our Visual Merchandising team at our Fairfield, NJ headquarters. This role follows a hybrid schedule, with three days per week onsite and the remaining days working remotely. Standard hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm.
About the Role
The Visual Merchandising Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and execution of showroom displays and brand environments. This role is hands-on and detail-driven, working closely with senior team members to bring visual concepts to life across showrooms, tradeshows, and events.
This position is ideal for someone early in their visual merchandising career who enjoys working with product, styling spaces, and contributing to polished, luxury environments.
What You Will Be Doing:
Display Coordination and Delivery
Support the coordination and execution of visual displays, including:
Vignettes
Wings
Showroom sales tools
Showroom props
Window box displays
Tradeshows
Pop-up Showrooms
Assist with installations and refreshes to ensure displays are executed accurately and on time
Secondary Displays and Styling Support
Assist with coordination and delivery of:
Florals
Event styling elements
Pegboard displays
Help ensure all secondary displays are set correctly and maintained to brand standards
Planograms and Wing Rotations
Follow established planograms and display guidelines
Assist with showroom-specific wing rotations and updates
Support seasonal refreshes and product launches
Collateral Layout and Setup
Assist with layout and placement of showroom collateral, including:
Wing tags
Colorway posters
Brochures and magazines
Flat lays
Ensure collateral is accurate, current, and presented cleanly
Showroom Experience and Audits
Research display trends and regional sales insights to support visual planning
Assist with visual merchandising audits and document findings
Help maintain consistency and quality across showroom installations
What You Bring:
Experience and Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Merchandising, or a related field, or equivalent experience
One to two years of experience in luxury visual merchandising, showroom coordination, or retail display
Exposure to showroom environments, tradeshows, or pop-up installations
Experience supporting seasonal launches or display refreshes
Familiarity with showroom sales tools and collateral
Skills
Basic styling and display coordination skills, including vignettes, wings, props, and florals
Understanding of showroom layouts and visual merchandising fundamentals
Ability to follow planograms and execute wing rotations accurately
Strong attention to detail, especially with collateral setup and presentation
Basic research and trend awareness skills
Ability to audit showroom installations and clearly report observations
Systems and Tools
Design tools: Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and SketchUp
Office tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Project tools: Wrike, display trackers, and showroom audit templates
Communication tools: Microsoft Teams and email

Ability to travel occasionally for showroom support, approximately one to two days per month

Compensation Benefits:
Competitive annual salary ranging from $55,000 - $60,000, based on your experience.
