About the role
Our Designers are makers and storytellers that use design to bring ideas to life. They lead projects into uncharted creative territories and create new outcomes. They design fundamentalists, but approach projects with a systems and stories mindset. They identify user needs, interpret client challenges, create innovative concepts and define visual language.

We’re looking for a visual designer to join the Marketing and Communications team at R/GA. This person will play an integral role in how R/GA shows up in the world, and quarterly reports data visualizations for proprietary thought leadership. They will work closely with the Brand Marketing team to define R/GA’s visual identity on owned channels and guide the implementation and evolution of our external and internal brand.

Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Visual Designer at R/GA:

On any given day you might

• Execute top quality design work in line with agency standards.

• Manage the quality of design throughout all phases of a project.

• Mentor and manage Designers and Junior Designers.

• Participate constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications.

• Work with Creative and Art Directors to ensure design work exceeds client expectations.

• Explain and articulate design decisions and rationale with confidence.

• Take an active part in client meetings and presentations.

• Contribute to the creation and definition of flexible design systems and visual languages.

The ideal person

• Has a proven ability to produce cutting edge creative work, and a master-level understanding of design, including typography and layout.

• Exhibits exceptional communication skills within the agency team and with clients.

• Has outstanding presentation skills.

• Can lead a team and mentor junior team members.

• Must have experience in creating visual interface designs and campaigns for all kinds of brands.

• Has branding and knowledge in user interface, and design libraries.

You bring

• 5+ years’ experience designing.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent education and experience.

• Advanced command of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Keynote.

• Proficiency in English (Written & Verbal)

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
