Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history. Kalshi is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.

Role Roadmap

We are looking for an outlier Visual Designer / Graphic Designer to help elevate our brand, define our visual identity, and create visual assets for all facets of our marketing function, from social media to OOH campaign. You will own crafting beautiful and impactful visuals to tell our company’s story and deliver a powerful message to people. We want people to look at Kalshi’s brand identity and feel something strong, and we want you to build that.

If you are a strategic thinker, you deeply care for our craft, and you have a track record of developing delightful visual experiences, this role is for you.

What you’ll do

• Create and own Kalshi’s visual identity: define a strong visual direction and design standout and cohesive visual experiences that will be consistent cross platforms (social media, OOH, paid campaigns, copy, product design).

• Asset Production: Craft scroll-stopping visuals — images, GIFs, and videos — that pop on our growth channels and make our audience love us more.

• Lead the process: from ideation to final delivery, you’ll work closely with the product and growth teams to deliver delightful assets that WOW people.

Rapid prototyping and iteration: try new things and experiment aggressively to help achieve growth and product goals.Performance Design: apply a data-driven approach to develop and iterate on creatives that will maximize engagement and conversions on our paid growth channels.Brand Cop: enforce brand consistency across all departments while pushing for rapid innovation.

What we’re looking for:

Attributes:

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, visual design, or something similar

• A compelling portfolio showcasing your ability to craft delightful visual experiences and powerful visual narratives (show us!)

• Deeply in love with your craft, obsessive over design details, and focused on excellence in execution.

• Aggressive creativity and ability to go outside the box on designs.

• Track record of creating high quality, performance driven assets (with a focus on social including Instagram, TikTok, and X)

• Ability to move fast and adjust quickly, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Passion for prediction markets and/or financial markets

• (Bonus) past experience in fintech or trading

NYC Pay Transparency Disclosure:

Salary Range: $120,000 to $220,000 annually plus equity and benefits.

This salary range is based on the current available market data and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but a broad range of experience is represented within roles. Should you have compensation expectations that exceed these bands, we'd still love to hear from you.
