What you’ll do
• Support our People Lead in building and scaling Peec AI’s people operations from the ground up
• Help implement and maintain core HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and documentation
• Help track and report on key people metrics and HR KPIs (e.g. headcount growth, time-to-hire, retention, employee satisfaction)
• Support the creation, documentation, and rollout of HR policies, guidelines, and internal standards
• Collaborate with the Workplace Manager on organizing and coordinating team events such as offsites, team gatherings, and company-wide initiatives
What we’re looking for
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, Law, Economics, or a related field
• Strong interest in people operations, HR, and how high-growth startups are built and scaled
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and keep things running smoothly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of discretion and professionalism
• Hands-on, proactive mindset - you’re comfortable taking ownership and figuring things out as you go
• Low-ego team player who enjoys working closely with founders and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Bonus points
• Previous internship or working student experience in HR, People Ops, Recruiting, or Operations
• Exposure to startups, scale-ups, or high-growth environments
• Familiarity with HR tools or systems (e.g. Personio and/or Ashby)
• Interest in labor law, HR compliance, or international people operations
• Experience working with sensitive or confidential information
