Virtualization Engineer with VMware SRM,vSphere

1. This challenging role will involve the planning, designing, developing and maintenance of various Server environments (Prod, Dev, Test etc.)

2. Experienceworking in a Multi-tenancy environment shared datacenter with 1000+ virtual machines.

3. Strong exposure on Installation, Configuration, Migration, upgrading and patching of large VMwareenvironment.

4. Design and build an environment as per the requirement provided by requestors/client.

5. Design and test to corporate technical standards

6. Evaluation of customer’s technical and ability to provide feedback/recommendations on these.

7. Troubleshooting, tuning & high availability strategies for a VMware environment in a critical production environment

8. Provide expertise inVMware design to the software development team & design, review, develop & implement production.

9. 3+ year’s experience with VMware SRM

Desired Skills:

1. 5+years of VMware experience in a production environment with a strong working knowledge of vSphere 4.x, 5.x, 6.x

2. Ability to work in a process mature production environments

3. Ability to prepare documentation and implementation plan as per defined timelines)

4. Exposure to Windows Server 2003 & 2008, Redhat 5 and 6 highly desirable.

5. Smooth interaction skills with Customer

6. Must have exposure on performance monitoring in a large vSphere 4.x environment.
