Job Description

Our partner is a leading financial services organization operating one of the largest IT infrastructures in the region. Their focus is on delivering stable, secure, and scalable systems while continuously modernizing our technology landscape. You will join a high-performing infrastructure team working on mission-critical platforms supporting millions of users.

We are hiring at two levels:

• Engineer (3+ years)
• Senior (5+ years + mentoring)

Tasks:

• Design, implement and operate large-scale, high-availability virtualization environments (VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V)
• Support and maintain VDI infrastructure from a server-side perspective
• Handle change requests, incidents, and problem management processes
• Manage virtual machine lifecycle in cooperation with cross-functional infrastructure teams
• Perform regular patching, upgrades, and system hardening activities
• Monitor and optimize capacity and resource utilization across the virtualized environment
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and/or PowerCLI
• Prepare and maintain system documentation and operational procedures
• Support audits and provide data for compliance-related activities
• Participate in infrastructure-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners
• Take part in on-call rotation

Requirements:
• Degree in IT or relevant technical field
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and/or PowerCLI
• Experience in enterprise-level infrastructure environments
• Understanding of virtualization, storage, and data center concepts
• Openness to learning new technologies and continuous improvement
• Working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Nice to have:

• Experience with data center server and storage solutions
• Knowledge of additional virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, Proxmox, IBM PowerVM, Oracle VM)
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
• Experience in financial services environment
