Virtual Leasing Agent (Remote - Property Management)

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Leasing Agent to support our property management operations remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. property management practices and hands-on experience with Section 8 housing programs. In this role, you will manage leasing inquiries, qualify leads, coordinate showings, and guide applicants through the leasing process from first contact to move-in.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner.
• Pre-screen applicants based on property criteria and assist with application processing.
• Manage, track, and follow up with leasing leads to maximize conversion rates.
• Schedule and coordinate virtual and/or in-person property showings.
• Prepare and assist with leasing paperwork, including lease agreements and addendums.
• Support applicants through the Section 8 process and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Buildium and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar).
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the leasing journey.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure smooth tenant onboarding and move-ins.

Requirements:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in leasing, property management, or real estate support.
• Solid understanding of Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher programs.
• Experience using Buildium or similar property management software.
• Proficient in Google Workspace tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Comfortable handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated in a remote work setting.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize leads, and meet leasing deadlines.
