Salary: $900 - 1,300 USD/month

Position Overview

A growing telehealth-based family medical clinic is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant (VA) to support daily administrative operations. The clinic is founded and led by a Family Medicine Physician and will initially operate as a solo practice, with plans to expand to additional providers in the future.

This is a remote position supporting a fully virtual (telehealth) practice serving patients in Washington and Idaho.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Communication & Phone Support

• Manage inbound and outbound calls
• Respond to patient inquiries
• Assist with appointment scheduling and rescheduling
• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth patient communication

Referral Coordination

• Process and track patient referrals
• Communicate with external providers and specialists
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR

Administrative & Paperwork Support

• Assist with medical documentation and filing
• Support completion and submission of required forms
• Organize and maintain digital records
• Assist with insurance-related or compliance paperwork as needed

Insurance Credentialing & Payer Enrollment

• Assist with provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications
• Track credentialing status and follow up with payers as needed
• Maintain copies of licenses and related documents
• Support payer contracting documentation and maintain organized records

Administrative & Paperwork Support

• Assist with medical documentation and filing
• Support completion and submission of required forms
• Organize and maintain digital records
• Assist with insurance-related or compliance paperwork as needed

EMR & Systems Support

• Support workflows within the clinic’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Help maintain accurate patient data and documentation

Nonprofit Administrative Support

• Provide general administrative assistance related to nonprofit operations
• Support documentation and organizational tasks as needed


Requirements:
• Experience as a Virtual Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, or similar role
• Familiarity with telehealth workflows preferred
• Experience working with EMR systems
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential information (HIPAA compliance required)
• Experience with referral management and medical paperwork preferred

Benefits:
• Client Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
• Payments : All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
• Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
