Position: Virtual Assistant, Accounts & Finance Senior Executive
Salary: 1,500 - 1,700 AUD per month
Working Hours & Conditions: 50 hrs/week (work one weekend day - Saturday or Sunday each week)
Holidays: TBD
OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an Accounts and Finance Executive to support the General Manager and handle core bookkeeping and financial reporting functions. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing cash flow, and providing insights and recommendations to support the company’s financial health and growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including maintaining accurate financial records, reconciliations, and expense tracking
• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow reports, and other management reports
• Assist the General Manager on finance-related matters
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data
• Monitor and manage cash flow, including forecasting and budgeting support
• Ensure proper use of accounting systems, primarily Xero
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost control and business growth
• Support strategic planning by advising management on financial health and efficiency improvements
Requirements:
Must Have:
• At least two solid years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably supporting Singapore-based clients
• Strong understanding of cash flow management and small business bookkeeping
• High proficiency in Xero
• Highly proficient in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets for reporting and analysis
• Experience using productivity tools such as Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office 365
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to advise management on cost control, efficiency improvements, and strategies to maintain healthy financial records
Good to Have:
• Experience or familiarity with Singapore accounting practices and basic regulatory requirements
• Prior experience supporting management or senior stakeholders in a finance or operations capacity
