Virtual Adult OCD Group Therapist, Evening Program

Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role

As a group therapist, you will spend the majority of your time with our patients facilitating evidenced based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT. We are seeking new and experienced clinicians with a passion for delivering dynamic and informative groups for our patients. Our virtual programs meet the needs of modern healthcare, providing flexibility for both patients and clinicians while increasing access to fundamental care. Experience with OCD and Exposure Response Prevention is preferred but not required.

Please note that this role is only open to candidates who reside in Illinois. The role is aligned to our evening program, and hours will be 12-8pm central time.

What You'll Do:

• Lead group therapy sessions teaching DBT, CBT, and ACT skills

• Conduct and write assessments of new patients to the program

• Provide individual and milieu-based exposure therapy

• Participate in individual therapy as needed

• Development and implementation of program material and curriculum

• Communicate with patients’ family members or support system, as needed

• Coordinate care with patients’ outside providers to ensure continuity of care

• Provide insurance utilization team with updates

• Chart progress of patients daily

• Attend training for Exposure Response Prevention Therapy

Who You Are:

• One year, post master’s exposure therapy experience; preferred

• Hold or be eligible the following licenses or certification: PhD, PsyD, LCPC, LCSW, LSW, LPC; preferred

• Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. Compensation
$47,000—$65,000 USD
