About the Role

BJAK is looking for a Video Production Lead to own and scale our video and livestream capabilities across Malaysia. This role will play a key part in shaping how BJAK communicates, educates, and builds trust with users through video-first content.

You will be responsible for strategy, production quality, and team leadership—working closely with internal stakeholders to support growth and brand impact in the Malaysian market.

Key Responsibilities

Creative & Strategic Direction

• Define the creative vision and video strategy for BJAK Malaysia.

• Identify trends, formats, and storytelling approaches relevant to Malaysian audiences.

• Ensure all video output aligns with BJAK’s brand, product, and business goals.

Building Video & Livestream Capabilities

• Develop scalable production workflows, studio setups, and equipment standards in Malaysia.

• Create playbooks and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.

• Introduce new tools, formats, and production methods to continuously improve output.

Production Leadership & Quality

• Lead planning and execution of video and livestream campaigns.

• Ensure high technical standards across filming, lighting, sound, graphics, and editing.

• Provide live direction during livestreams to optimise engagement and performance.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor the local video and production team.

• Set KPIs, monitor performance, and raise creative standards.

• Work closely with marketing, growth, and product teams in Malaysia.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in video and livestream production.

• Strong track record delivering high-quality video content at scale.

• Experience leading or mentoring creative or production teams.

• Solid technical knowledge of production equipment and editing tools.

• Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-moving environment.
