The Video Encoding Assistant will work full time in Colombia and will come with some really cool perks as well as ensuring that as an individual you have the proper work/life balance.

Salary // Monthly Compensation $3,991,970.00 - 6 months Temporary

In a Nutshell // 

The Video Distribution Assistant for Symphonic will assist the Video Distribution Manager in processing all music video encoding and delivery requests to Apple Music and other DSPs as needed.

What you will do //

Check queues daily and prioritize encoding & delivery of content as needed.

Review submitted videos to ensure they meet various DSP content and technical guidelines before delivery. Communicate as needed with the appropriate team via email if the video will not meet specs.

Encode approved videos to iTunes specs and upload required files. Edit as needed (ie: adding black frame to beginning and end of video, trimming out countdown slates, etc.)

Log metadata on the appropriate Video Distro Roster “IJ Apple Delivery” Tab.

Assist the Video Distribution Manager with day-to-day tasks related to video distribution.

What you need to have // 

1-2 years of related experience or training

Working knowledge and experience with Adobe products - specifically Adobe Premiere and Adobe Encoder.

Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or equivalent Google Apps.

Experience with editing XML is a plus!

Ability to identify weak spots in a process and improve efficiency •    
Experience with operational metrics (for example, KPI, OKR, etc).

Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

This position is offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract

This role will report to the Video Distribution & Encoding Manager, located in the USA

This position is open only to candidates currently residing in Colombia
