Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Full-Time Video Editor to support a fast-paced marketing agency producing high-volume video content for both internal brand use and external clients.
This role requires someone who can work efficiently, communicate proactively, and deliver consistent, high-quality edits with clear turnaround expectations. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment where speed and quality both matter.
Core Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production
● Edit short-form and long-form video content for marketing and social media
● Work on storytelling content, branded content, and client-facing videos
● Apply clean, professional cuts that enhance pacing and clarity
● Perform accurate color grading for all video outputs
● Add captions with correct grammar, spelling, and timing
● Ensure final videos meet brand and client standards
Turnaround & Workflow Management
● Deliver short-form video edits within 2–3 hours per video (on average)
● Manage multiple video requests throughout the day
● Avoid excessive time spent on single edits unless clearly scoped
● Communicate immediately if a task will exceed expected timelines
Collaboration & Communication
● Maintain fast and professional response times during working hours
● Communicate primarily via Slack and Lark
● Take direction clearly and ask clarifying questions when needed
● Work closely with internal team members and other editors
Tools & Systems
● Use own preferred video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
● Log into and work within company tools and CRM systems as required
● Adapt quickly to internal workflows and content standards
Must-Have Requirements:
• 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience
• Strong color grading skills
• Excellent English comprehension for accurate captioning
• Ability to make strong editorial decisions (clean cuts, pacing, flow)
• Proven ability to meet fast turnaround times consistently
• High responsiveness during working hours
Nice-to-Have:
• Experience working with marketing agencies or content-heavy teams
• Experience editing content for multiple clients with varying styles
• Familiarity with social media content formats and trends
Performance Expectations:
• High productivity without sacrificing quality
• Clear communication around timelines and workload
• Ability to handle feedback professionally and iterate quickly
