Video Editor

Remote role, only for applicants in Argentina and Uruguay.

RYZ Labs is looking for a Video Editor to join our client's team. This role involves creating engaging video content that captivates, informs, and entertains our audience, including podcasts and client testimonials, among other things. You will play a key role in bringing their company vision to life through high-quality video content, experimenting with new technologies to continuously improve visual storytelling.

What you'll do:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos.
- Enhance videos with music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects.
- Maintain consistency in style, branding, and messaging across all video content.
- Review and provide feedback on scripts, storyboards, and shot lists.
- Use advanced video editing software and tools to achieve desired effects.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, motion graphics, visual effects, and AI-driven creative technologies.
- Manage and organize video assets efficiently.

Qualifications:
- Experience as a Video Editor or similar role with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Understanding of video production processes, including codecs, formats, and compression.
- Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading is a plus.
- Strong storytelling skills through editing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for video editing and visual storytelling, with a keen interest in industry trends.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video and creative tools (e.g., AI-assisted editing, auto-captioning, noise removal, background cleanup, or generative visuals).
- Experience using AI tools for tasks such as transcription, captioning, rough cuts, upscaling, color matching, or content variation across formats is a plus.
