Video Content Producer

To support this mission, we're looking for a creative soul to help our video team create educational and promotional content across our video channels, including (but not limited to) YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and on the web.

While your role would be primarily executive - producing and editing content, you will have the freedom to test out new ideas, play with the structure of our tutorials, and suggest A/B tests within your video cluster.

What you will be doing:

• Creating, editing, and producing high-quality video content, including tutorials, product videos, and webinars for the Apify YouTube channel and other digital platforms, e.g. TikTok.

• Coming up with scripts based on briefs from relevant stakeholders - you don't have to be Shakespeare, the Content team is there to help.

• Supporting product marketers in their campaigns across YouTube, TikTok, and other social media.

• Collaborating with the Video team and Design team to develop video concepts that align with the Apify brand and marketing strategies.

• Conducting A/B experiments with different thumbnails or video titles and descriptions, and reporting on the results.

• Keeping a finger on the pulse of video production trends and online content to keep Apify's output fresh and relevant.

• Bonus points if you're comfortable stepping in front of the camera and recording content yourself.

Who are we looking for?

• You love creating video content that's both engaging and informative, with the ability to turn technical walkthroughs into compelling narratives for a developer audience.

• You have a track record in video recording, editing, and production, ideally with experience in creating content for companies similar to Apify.

• You are creative, with an eye for detail and a pulse on current video trends, especially in the tech and developer communities.

• You have experience managing YouTube channels, including content planning, SEO optimization, and audience engagement.

• You're a self-starter who can run with a project solo but also thrives when collaborating across teams.

• You know your way around editing software, ideally Adobe Premiere, as that's what the team works with.

• You have experience beyond video editing and can quickly create new visuals like animations, thumbnails, video cards, and other designs.

• You have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• You are an active AI user and are always thinking of how a process or a production element can be substituted with an agent.

• You are Prague-based and able to come to the Vodičkova office at least twice a week, as videos are filmed at the in-office studio.

By the end of the first 3 months, we expect you to:

• Gain a thorough understanding of Apify's products, brand identity, and audience. Familiarize yourself with existing video content and style.

• Become part of the video production workflow, including pre-production planning, shooting, and post-production processes.

• Produce and publish your first set of videos, demonstrating your grasp of the Apify brand and technical content. This could include a mix of tutorials, product overviews, and webinar edits.

• Build strong working relationships with the PMM, Content, and Design teams.

• Process at least 1 Actor tutorial weekly.

By the end of the first 6 months, we expect you to:

• Actively contribute to the video content strategy, proposing new ideas and formats that align with Apify's marketing goals and audience interests.

• Incorporate feedback from the team and audience to refine video content, ensuring it meets the needs and expectations of both internal stakeholders and viewers.

• Be a full-fledged member of the short-form video cluster and own the production workflow end to end.

• Present relevant AI tools that can be used to accelerate the production process.

• Drive measurable growth in engagement and reach across the Apify YouTube channel and other platforms.

• Establish a consistent and scalable cadence of high-quality video content, showcasing your ability to manage and deliver projects on schedule.

• Increase the traffic from YouTube to the Apify website from the Actor tutorial format by 20% via consistent output.
