Overview
We are a fast-growing, global aesthetics pharmaceutical company building our U.S. presence. We are seeking a Vice President, U.S. Medical Affairs to establish, lead, and scale our U.S. Medical Affairs function.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned medical professional who combines clinical practice experience with senior Medical Affairs leadership in pharma or medical devices. The successful candidate will serve as the senior medical authority in the U.S. and play a critical role in shaping strategy, culture, and scientific credibility as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities
Build & Lead U.S. Medical Affairs
Establish the U.S. Medical Affairs strategy, infrastructure, and governance for a growth-stage organization
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Medical Affairs team, including MSLs and future medical leadership roles
Serve as the senior U.S. medical leader and primary scientific voice internally and externally
Medical & Scientific Strategy
Provide medical and scientific leadership across the U.S. aesthetics portfolio
Oversee medical education, scientific communications, investigator-initiated studies, and evidence generation
Ensure scientific rigor, medical accuracy, and regulatory compliance across all medical activities
KOL & External Engagement
Develop and maintain strong relationships with U.S. KOLs, investigators, and professional societies
Lead advisory boards, scientific exchange, and congress engagement
Represent the company at major medical meetings and industry forums
Cross-Functional Partnership
Act as a strategic partner to Commercial, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Compliance
Provide medical insight to brand strategy, launch planning, and lifecycle management
Support field teams through compliant scientific training and education
Compliance & Best Practices
Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, PhRMA Code, and internal policies
Establish SOPs and best practices appropriate for a scaling U.S. organization
Qualifications
MD, DO, or PhD required (MD or DO strongly preferred)
Clinical practice experience required
Minimum 10+ years combined experience in clinical practice and pharmaceutical or medical device industry
Proven leadership experience within U.S. Medical Affairs
Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, or related specialties strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to build lean functions and teams in a growth-stage or entrepreneurial environment
Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory, compliance, and medical governance requirements
