We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Sales & Marketing (VPSM) to lead enterprise-wide sales, occupancy, branding, and digital marketing strategy for senior living communities in Southfield, MI. This strategic executive role is responsible for driving revenue growth, maximizing occupancy across multiple villages, and strengthening brand visibility through data-driven decision-making and innovative marketing approaches.

The VPSM partners closely with Operations, IT, Facilities Advancement, and Village leadership to ensure cohesive execution of performance marketing initiatives, lead generation strategies, conversion optimization, and market expansion efforts. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Directors ready to step into a VP role or seasoned Vice Presidents with a strong background in senior living sales and marketing leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Sales & Marketing Leadership

• Develop, direct, and execute enterprise-wide sales and marketing strategies.
• Establish short- and long-term revenue goals, occupancy targets, and operating procedures.
• Lead system-wide move-in strategy and ensure seamless resident transitions.
• Represent the organization publicly and build strong external partnerships.

Growth & Market Intelligence

• Identify and cultivate new resident markets across communities.
• Conduct and analyze market research to inform growth strategies.
• Evaluate financial feasibility of new initiatives, including ROI and budget analysis.

Sales Performance & Analytics

• Monitor CRM pipeline data, forecasting, and conversion metrics.
• Prepare statistical and performance reports to guide executive decision-making.
• Track census trends and implement strategies to improve occupancy performance.

Digital, Brand & Advertising Strategy

• Lead integrated advertising campaigns across digital, print, and community channels.
• Oversee development and distribution of marketing materials and sales collateral.
• Coordinate trade show participation and promotional events.
• Strengthen brand positioning through innovative marketing strategies.

Team Leadership & Financial Stewardship

• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate sales and marketing staff.
• Develop and manage enterprise sales and marketing budgets.
• Provide leadership coaching and ensure high performance across teams.
• Coordinate compliance training including Fair Housing regulations.

Enterprise Collaboration & Governance

• Partner with cross-functional leadership on development and market expansion initiatives.
• Participate in executive meetings, committees, and strategic planning sessions.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Travel 25–50% as required.


Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Director or Vice President of Sales & Marketing within senior living, aging services, or healthcare.
• Minimum 5+ years of management-level sales and marketing experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory leadership experience.
• Strong expertise with CRM systems and sales analytics platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability in forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
