We are looking for a Vice President of Sales to be responsible for setting the overall vision and strategy for the European Region, driving major organisational transformation, and ensuring the sales function's alignment with the company's long-term direction and success. This role holds overall accountability for the EU sales department's performance and results.

Requirements:
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and driving aggressive revenue growth across the region, and making a significant impact by solidifying our position as the #1 Google Cloud Partner and building a high-performing European sales engine from the ground up, shaping the future alongside other high-calibre people.

Role Responsibilities:

• Build the GTM Engine: Define and execute the Europe entry and expansion strategy, identifying key industry verticals and high-growth segments for GCP adoption.
• Revenue Ownership: Carry and exceed the European revenue quota by owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development to closing high-value, seven-figure enterprise deals.
• Strategic Partnership: Act as the primary executive liaison with Google Cloud’s Europe leadership, aligning our sales motions with Google’s field teams to drive lucrative co-sell opportunities.
• Team Architecture: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Account Executives and Sales Engineers, acting as a "player-coach" who can lead from the front, adapt messaging for the European enterprise buyer, and build initial outbound sequences.
• Executive Visibility: Provide regular, metrics-driven reporting to the C-suite and Board regarding market trends, competitive intelligence, funnel mathematics, and regional performance.
• Operational Leadership: Support the President of Europe in full revenue lifecycle activities, including the strategic building, growing, and supporting of our first AI Academy

Essential Experience:

• Extensive senior sales leadership experience in Cloud Services, SaaS, or IT Consulting.
• Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding substantial annual recurring revenue (e.g., $20M+ ARR) or services quotas.
• Deep understanding and an extensive network within the Google Cloud (GCP) ecosystem are non-negotiable.
• Proven ability to build and scale a sales function from the ground up.
• Strong executive presence with the demonstrated ability to influence at the C-level and close complex enterprise deals.
• Highly metrics-driven approach with a deep understanding of funnel mathematics and the ability to forecast with high accuracy.

Desirable Experience:

• Demonstrated success navigating and leading teams through high-growth, "startup" phases within a larger global market leader.
• Experience leveraging AI or frontier technologies in enterprise sales motions or solution selling.
• Strong background in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, delivery, and product teams to optimise the Go-To-Market strategy.
