Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain

About the Role

We are seeking a VP of Operations & Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution. This leader will ensure operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and scalability as the company continues to grow.

You will oversee logistics, warehouse management through a 3PL, inventory planning, procurement, and demand forecasting. You will also play a critical role in managing vendor relationships, optimizing fulfillment, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across all channels.

This role reports directly to the President and partners closely with leadership across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product.

The ideal candidate has successfully scaled operations in a high-growth environment and has a strong track record of building operational systems that support rapid growth.

What You’ll Do

Channel Expansion & Operations

• Develop and execute operational strategies that support channel expansion beyond DTC
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to build forecasting models and replenishment strategies
• Establish and manage EDI processes, compliance requirements, and retailer operational workflows
• Build and oversee wholesale fulfillment operations for retail partners
• Implement scalable inventory allocation strategies across all channels

Supply Chain, Logistics & Inventory Management

• Oversee 3PL warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cost control
• Optimize logistics and freight operations to improve speed and reduce costs
• Implement best-in-class demand planning and inventory management processes
• Monitor key supply chain KPIs including fulfillment rate, inventory turnover, and cost efficiency
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for optimal pricing and lead times
• Ensure compliance with global supply chain standards, sustainability initiatives, and ethical sourcing practices

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

• Build and lead a high-performing Operations & Supply Chain team
• Identify and implement systems and technologies to streamline operations
• Partner with Finance on budgeting, cost modeling, and forecasting
• Drive ESG initiatives related to sustainability and responsible sourcing
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions and operational risks

Requirements:
What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations
• Experience in beauty, CPG, or retail industries
• Proven success scaling operations for a high-growth DTC brand
• Deep experience managing 3PL logistics and retail supply chains
• Expertise in inventory planning, demand forecasting, and supplier negotiations
• Strong analytical mindset with experience managing KPIs and cost optimization
• Experience with ERP and inventory systems such as NetSuite, Shopify, or similar
• Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in execution
