Role Overview

The Vice President – Chief Architect is responsible for defining and driving enterprise-wide technical strategy while actively shaping system design across backend platforms (C/C++, Java), frontend ecosystems (React/TypeScript), multi-cloud infrastructure, and AI/BI platforms. This role combines executive-level ownership of architecture vision with direct involvement in critical design decisions, architecture reviews, and complex system modernization initiatives.

Executive Responsibilities:

Enterprise Architecture & Technical Vision

• Define and own the multi-year enterprise architecture roadmap aligned to business growth and product strategy.

• Establish architecture governance, design review boards, and engineering standards.

• Define reference architectures across high-performance systems, cloud-native platforms, AI/BI ecosystems, and digital products.

• Ensure scalability, resiliency, performance, and security across all enterprise systems.

Backend & System Architecture Leadership

• Architect enterprise-grade systems in C/C++ and Java, including high-performance and distributed systems.

• Define concurrency models, memory management strategies, event-driven patterns, and microservices architecture standards..

• Drive cloud-native transformation of legacy systems into scalable, containerized, multi-region deployments.

Frontend & Digital Platform Architecture

• Define scalable React architecture, component strategy, and modular UI frameworks.

• Standardize TypeScript usage, state management, and performance optimization patterns.

• Ensure consistent SPA performance, security, and UX across products.

Cloud & DevOps Governance

• Lead multi-cloud strategy (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native deployment models.

• Standardize containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) across platforms.

• Drive CI/CD, DevSecOps, and enterprise observability adoption.

Data, AI/BI & Analytics

• Architect AI and ML-driven capabilities across enterprise applications.

• Design BI and analytics platforms leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, and PowerQuery.

• Define enterprise data modeling, ETL, and transformation pipelines.

• Integrate AI/ML insights into core products and dashboards for decision-making.

Organizational Leadership

• Mentor Directors, Principal Engineers, and Architects.

• Collaborate with Product, Data, Security, and Operations leaders.

• Define architecture KPIs across performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Build a culture of engineering excellence, automation, and technical depth

Technical Expectations

• Deep expertise in C/C++ system architecture, concurrency, and high-performance computing.

• Enterprise-level AI/BI platform architecture experience.

• Multi-cloud architecture expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Java, React, and TypeScript architecture experience.

• Snowflake, Databricks, and PowerQuery integration experience.

• Experience defining enterprise security, observability, and performance standards.

Preferred (Plus)

• Proven experience leading enterprise AI/ML strategy and integration.

• Large-scale BI and analytics ecosystem leadership.

• Experience in global cloud modernization or digital transformation programs.

• Multi-region, high-availability system architecture expertise.
