We’re seeking an entrepreneurial, world-class leader to grow and lead our Activations capability—our engine for transforming products and partnerships into national, integrated platforms that mobilize people around key social causes aligned with our vision and principles. This isn’t about short-term campaigns; your team will own multi-year strategies that capitalize on and grow evergreen activations platforms, including major partnerships with top sports leagues and cultural influencers.

To be successful in this role, you will bring deep experience in integrating external partners—including influencers, artists, athletes, businesses, media, and social impact organizations— with internal capabilities like Marketing and Communications and Partnerships to deliver dynamic, culture-shaping activations. You will have examples of building a scaled operation that has been successful in doing this on a national scale.

This role requires a builder—someone who can both roll up their sleeves to design an integrated activations strategy today and build the systems, team, and strategy that will scale our impact across multiple platforms and products tomorrow. The ideal candidate blends strategic vision, culture fluency, team leadership, and operational excellence.


How You Will Contribute:
• Team & Operational Leadership:
• Grow and lead a scalable Activations capability that is capable of mobilizing audiences through platforms that span culture, music, media, sports, business, and the social sector.
• Build a scalable operating model: grow a high-performing team, integrate resources and capabilities across Stand Together, and develop an ecosystem of external partners and vendors.
• Define the strategic vision, systems, and measurement frameworks that enable repeatable success and continual learning.
• Integrate cross-functional teams—Marketing & Communications, Partnerships, and external collaborators—into matrixed initiatives working toward a shared goal.

• Strategic Leadership & Capability Vision:
• Lead the go-to-market strategy for flagship activation platforms that bring our vision and solutions to life in culture.
• Translate complex organizational priorities into clear, audience-driven campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and action.
• Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership—helping connect activations to broader brand and social impact strategies.
• Continuously refine the Activations value proposition through feedback, experimentation, and performance learning loops.
• Lead the full lifecycle of national and local activations—from ideation and creative development to execution, analysis, and iteration.
• Integrate influencers, artists, athletes, businesses, and cause partners to extend reach and cultural relevance.
• Champion innovation—testing new formats, partnerships, and storytelling models that engage diverse audiences in meaningful ways.

• Partnership Development & Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external partners, agencies, thought leaders, influencers, and collaborators. Partners include world-class philanthropic, film and media, music, entertainment, education, and community organizations.


What You Will Bring:
• Proven track record leading complex, long-term activations or go-to-market strategies that drive measurable audience engagement and action on a national scale.
• Experience partnering with high-visibility brands, partners, and culture-shaping figures — from athletes, professional sports leagues, and artists to media platforms and businesses.
• Demonstrated success leading the growth of a capability or function from early-stage experimentation to operational maturity, including developing systems, talent, and scalable processes.
• Strategic and operational range—able to zoom out to design vision and frameworks while rolling up your sleeves to execute.
• Strong cross-functional leadership experience and ability to work within a highly matrixed environment, collaborating across Marketing & Communications, Partnerships, Operations, and an external partner ecosystem.
• Fluency in brand storytelling and audience insight, with an ability to translate abstract ideas into creative strategies that resonate and mobilize.
• Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable navigating ambiguity, experimenting to learn, and driving results in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
