Veterinary Receptionist
Orlando Vets Clinics is hiring a full-time front-desk receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. We are looking for a customer service professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and is passionate about animal care.

Salary: $17 - $20 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
Schedule: This is a full-time position split between two locations. Monday and Thursday shifts are at the Corrine Drive location from 7:45 AM – 5:45 PM, and Wednesday and Friday shifts are at the Alafaya Trail location from 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM. Every other Saturday is also required at the Alafaya Trail location.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.
• Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.
• Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.
• Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor
