Veterinary Urgent Care Group is a new employee-owned veterinary healthcare network with a mission to give Veterinary Medicine back to all levels of Veterinary Professionals.
Our Advanced Urgent Care Model bridges the gap between general practice and after-hours care. We manage a dynamic and varied caseload, focusing exclusively on urgent and complex cases rather than preventive care. Our team delivers comprehensive diagnostic services, offers a broad range of surgical and procedural capabilities, and prioritizes compassionate client communication. We operate in a highly collaborative environment where every team member is empowered as an owner, contributing to the success and growth of the practice(s).
Multiple locations across Atlantic Canada, including: Charlottetown, PEI; Quispamsis, Moncton, Fredericton, NB; and Truro, NS; Ottawa, ON; St John’s, NFLD.

The Perks
Our veterinarians are business partners, owning 10% equivalent of a hospital at the parent company level
Quarterly profit share bonus
Base pay ($150,000) or 25% production (whichever is greater) ($150K - $250K total compensation)
Average 32-36 hours per week + team meeting(s)

The Candidate
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in the corresponding province
Interest in Emergency Medicine without the challenging hours
Interest in learning more about Veterinary Business and Ownership
